What it is
The straight take.
Glendora is the western anchor of the foothill cities Brenda works, in LA County right up against the San Gabriels. About 52,000 people, an old citrus town that grew into one of the most sought-after school districts in the eastern San Gabriel Valley.
Glendora Village is the downtown, and it's the good kind — a real walkable stretch of Glendora Avenue with restaurants, shops, and a Friday-night-out feel. It's the social center of the city, not an afterthought.
North Glendora is the part that drives the prices. The closer you get to the foothills, the bigger the lots and the older the money — custom homes, mature trees, and streets that back right up to the mountains. Glendora Mountain Road climbs out of the top of town and is a legend with cyclists.
South of Route 66 is the more attainable Glendora: tighter tract neighborhoods, still in the same well-regarded district, and the entry point for families who want the schools without the north-Glendora price tag.

- 02
Glendora Village and the streets around it trade on walkability and charm; smaller homes, but buyers pay for being able to walk to dinner.
- 03
South Glendora is the value play — same Glendora Unified schools, more attainable price points, and where most first-time buyers in the city start.
